Fake Phones Steal Crypto: Buyers Beware!

Hackers are selling counterfeit Android smartphones preloaded with malware designed to steal cryptocurrencies and sensitive data. Kaspersky Labs reports these devices come at reduced prices but contain the Triada Trojan, granting attackers near-total control and enabling them to replace crypto wallet addresses. This has resulted in $270,000 transferred to attacker wallets. The majority of infections have been found in Russia. Buyers are advised to stick with legitimate distributors and install security solutions promptly.
