In Britain, cyclists are submitting record video footage to police of dangerous driving, more than doubling over three years. This highlights motorists' ignorance of the Highway Code, which mandates a 1.5-meter gap when overtaking cyclists. Operation Snap, started in 2017, now sees higher prosecution rates, increasing from 38% in 2021 to 54% in 2024.
